Sam Keen

Sam Keen holds graduate degrees from the Harvard Divinity School and Princeton University, but prefers to be known as a natural philosopher.  While an editor at Psychology Today for twenty years, he brought thinkers such as Joseph Campbell to national attention.  He is the author of the bestselling Fire in the Belly (review or buy) and many books on spirituality.

Hymns to an Unknown God

In his jubilant, irreverent style, Sam Keen comments on the spiritual landscape in America today.  Taking a deep look at emerging trends in spirituality, Hymns to an Unknown God (review or buy) offers stories and wisdom about creating a sense of wonder and a connection with the spirit in today's fast-paced world.  Sam Keen also cuts through a great deal of false approaches to spirituality in this book, and offers his view on what it is to be genuine.
