Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa was born in Yugoslavia.  She taught geography in St. Mary's High School in Calcutta, India before becoming especially interested in the poorest of the poor.  In 1950 she started her own order, the Missionaries of Charity, dedicated to serving the poor, the sick, and the dying.  Mother Teresa is a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, and has inspired millions with her faith and work.

A Simple Path

In A Simple Path (review or buy), Mother Teresa shares in her own words the thoughts and experiences that have led her to do her extraordinary works.  A Simple Path also tells the story of the founding of the Missionaries of Charity, and includes thoughts from sisters of the Order.

In the Heart of the World

In the Heart of the World (review or buy) is a powerful portrait of Mother Teresa, told in her own words through a blend of daily life experiences, prayers, and spiritual wisdom.  With humor and compassion, Mother Teresa illuminates the sacred in the everyday tasks of living, helping, and healing.
