Interview with Dr. Orloff

Judith Orloff, M.D.

Judith Orloff, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist, an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at UCLA, and a staff member at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.  She is the author of several well-received books about intuition and healing.  Dr. Orloff is an international lecturer and workshop leader on the interrelationship of medicine, intuition, and spirituality.  Her work has been featured on several major television programs and in many newspapers.

Dr. Judith Orloff's Guide to Intuitive Healing

Dr. Judith Orloff's Guide to Intuitive Healing (review or buy) is a book that helps us to open ourselves to intuitive guidance.  In the book, Dr. Orloff introduces five practical steps she uses in her own life which illustrate how to harness the power of intuition to heal. In the book, we learn how to clarify our beliefs, listen to our body's messages, access inner guidance, sense subtle energy, and interpret our dreams.  "Our intuition can open us up to our spirituality and show us how to be more healthy and whole," writes Dr. Orloff.

Second Sight

When she was a child, Judith Orloff's vivid dreams and premonitions of the future were discouraged by her family. Later, as a medical student, she herself denied her "secret" by immersing herself in science. Finally, as a psychiatrist, Dr. Judith Orloff received proof of the value of her gift when a premonition foretold a patient's suicide attempt. In Second Sight (review or buy), a remarkable self-portrait, she takes the reader on her personal journey, one that brought her from ignorance to understanding and from loneliness to peace.
