Scoring the Loneliness Scale: To score the scale, simply add up the numbers of the answers you circled on each item. Since your score on each question can range between 0 and 4, your total score can range between a minimum of 0 (if your answer on every item was a 0) and a maximum of 32 (if your answer on every item was a 4).
